Convention Delivery Guide for Orlando Exhibitors
Show floors run on the clock. Here's how to plan local delivery around it.
Know Your Windows Before You Book Anything
Every show publishes move-in and move-out windows by hall and often by booth block. Your delivery has to land inside that window — arriving early usually means being turned away, and arriving late can mean paying overtime rates to the show's contractor.
Who Controls What
The venue controls docks, marshalling yards and building access. Each show's official service contractor controls material handling on the floor. An independent local mover handles transport up to the point the show permits — hotel to venue, warehouse to venue, venue to storage.
What Local Delivery Solves
Freight arrives damaged, a crate is short, product sells out, or a client wants samples from a nearby hotel. Long-haul carriers can't respond to any of that in an afternoon. A local crew can.
